What is the entry requirement for the fiber optics Installer program?
The Installer (Foundation) program has no formal educational prerequisite beyond basic literacy and numeracy. It is designed for individuals entering the field for the first time. Participants should be physically able to work at heights and in confined spaces. GBOX will confirm entry requirements and the next cohort start date on request.
Does GBOX issue a certificate after completing the ICT training?
Yes. GBOX issues a completion certificate for each level of the program. For the Engineer and Advanced level, the certificate includes OTDR testing results and commissioning competency confirmation, which is directly usable for job applications and project bids. GBOX is developing formal accreditation alignment — ask for the current certification status when you contact the training team.
Can GBOX deliver ICT training at our institution or employer premises?
Yes. GBOX offers corporate and institutional training delivery where the program is brought to your site. This requires a suitable lab space or can be arranged with portable equipment for the hands-on components. Contact GBOX to discuss minimum cohort size, equipment requirements, and scheduling.
